Holy Hiatus – Ritual and Community in Public Art

Yn ystod mis Mai 2008, cynhaliwyd pum digwyddiad celf mewn mannau cyhoeddus yn Aberteifi. Yr artistiaid oedd Alastair MacLennan, Maura Hazelden, Simon Whitehead, Anna Lucas and Yvonne Buchheim, ac ymhlith y themâu a gafwyd yn eu gwaith, roedd defod, cymuned a lleoliad. Mae’r gyfrol hon felly yn deillio o’r digwyddiadau hynny yn 2008.
In May 2008, five temporary art events by artists Alastair MacLennan, Maura Hazelden, Simon Whitehead, Anna Lucas and Yvonne Buchheim, took place in public spaces in Cardigan exploring themes of ritual, community and place. Holy Hiatus sought to examine the ways that artists can draw audiences into different, often unexpected experiences of place through ritual.
