In his verse, Dylan Thomas returned time and again to Wales, particularly the area around Laugharne. It was the topography and character of the town that gave rise to his most famous verse play, Under Milk Wood. Armed with Thomas’s memoirs, verse and sketches, Mark Davies revisits his haunts and has created a strong evocation of both the poet and his sense of place.
