George Owens, a 90 year old man, is pondering about the elements of water: the H and the O, and also the third nonapprehendable element that makes water water. And George's relationship with the river of his locality, the river Dee, is portayed in this novel. This novel won Siân Melangell Dafydd the Literary Medal at the 2009 National Eisteddfod.
