Mae Cesar am ddileu’r ffordd Galaidd o fywyd y bu Asterix a’i ffrindiau yn ei fwynhau cyhyd, drwy oresgyn eu pentref ag ymsefydlwyr Rhufeinig. Ond mae’r Galiaid yn gwrthwynebu, hyd nes bo arian yn siarad yn uwch na geiriau. Wrth i anghytgord ferwi, ymddengys fod cynllun Cesar am lwyddo – ond yna mae’r Galiaid yn sylweddoli bod eu holl fodolaeth dan fygythiad.
Caesar plans to erase the Gaulish way of life Asterix and his friends enjoy. He will flood their village with Roman settlers, but the Gauls stand their ground, until money begins to speak louder than words. Disharmony is soon rife and Caesar’s plan seems a winner – then the Gauls realise their whole existence is threatened by the Roman plantation.
