Caiff cyfrinach y ddiod hud ei gwarchod yn ofalus gan Asterix a’i gydwladwyr wrth iddynt wrthsefyll y goresgynwyr Rhufeinig. Mae’r ddiod, a baratoir gan y derwydd Ogamaix, yn rhoi nerth goruwchnaturiol i’r sawl sy’n ei yfed, ac mae’r canwriad Rhufeinig lleol yn cynllwynio i’w feddiannu, ond a fydd ef yn ddigon clyfar i drechu Asterix?
The magic potion’s secret is closely guarded by Asterix and his fellow Gauls as they resist the Roman invader. The potion, brewed by the druid Ogamaix, gives those who drink it superhuman strength, and is coveted by the local Roman Centurion. The Centurion has a cunning plan to get his hands on the potion, but is he clever enough to outwit Asterix?
