Ychydig funudau cyn wyth o’r gloch y bore ar fore’r 4ydd o Ebrill, 1862, roedd Richard Rowlands, neu Dic Rolant, ar fin cael ei grogi y tu allan i garchar Biwmares am lofruddio ei dad yng nghyfraith. Dyma oedd yr achos olaf o grogi cyhoeddus yng Nghymru.
