The Lonely Crowd is a magazine primarily devoted to the short story, founded by Dr John Lavin, fiction editor of Wales Arts Review. Our goal is to create a new space in which the short story form can flourish and as such we accept unsolicited submissions and – in the case of the print edition – pay for them.
