Lost Tramways of England: Bristol
The city of Bristol once possessed an extensive electric tramway network with routes radiating out from the centre to places such as Westbury-on-Trym, Brislington, Hanham and Bedminster Downs. Bristol was at the forefront of this type of transport, but when the final trams operated in 1941, the system was unmodernised, and now little remains of this important form of transport.
