Bu pysgota môr yn rhan hanfodol o fywyd trigolion arfordir Cymru dros y canrifoedd, o gynnal economi syml i gynnig gwaith ac incwm ar raddfa fasnachol. Roedd sawl agwedd i’r diwydiant pysgota – y dulliau o ddal amrywiaeth o bysgod, y cychod a’r offer, a’r amrywiol ffyrdd o storio’r pysgod a’u gwerthu.
Sea fishing has been an essential part for hundreds of years of the lives of those living along the shores of Wales, in some cases maintaining a simple economy and in others providing an income on a commercial scale. Several aspects of the fishing industry are discussed: the methods used to catch various fish, the boats and equipment and the different storage and selling methods used.
