An evocative photographic record of the railways around Lampeter from August 1963 until the end of steam in April 1965. The book features Great Western and 1950’s locomotives and stations and railwaymen in rural Cardiganshire and Carmarthenshire. It shows the last train to leave Aberayron and the final steam working between Carmarthen and the milk depot at Pont Llanio.
