Nid yw’n ddinesydd yn unlle, mae rhesymeg yn rheoli ei fywyd ac mae’n rhugl mewn sawl iaith. Ar y llaw arall, mae Olwen, aelod o deulu ymherodrol, llwythol, wedi’i gwreiddio yn ei gwlad enedigol, yn ymladdwraig wyllt ac yn uniaethu’n ddwfn â byd natur.
Quintus, long exiled from his people, has travelled great odysseys in the retinue of a powerful Roman. Though a citizen of nowhere, he is a man of reason, fluent in many languages. Olwen, of imperious tribal royalty, is rooted in her native land – a volatile warrior, fiercely attached to the natural world.
