In this follow up collection to Muses and Bruises, Fran Lock takes us to the rebellious heart of dissent with her portrayal of Levellers and Diggers and their struggles over property rights. She also writes of witches, working-class suffragettes, and the unloved labours of working-class women, conflating historical detail with present crises.
