The Harveys arrive in the small south-west Australian mining town of Akarula in search of a new life, inspired by the dreams of self-made man Uncle Eddie. But the disappearance of their youngest daughter, Georgie, into the desert landscape marks the start of a new reality for the family and troubled community.
