Dechrau o’r newydd yw bwriad John wrth iddo adael y ddinas fyglyd a mentro i bentref Trecadno yng Nghymru. Ond cyn gynted ag y mae yn camu oddi ar y bws, mae llenni’r tai yn dechrau symud, gan na welir fawr o ymwelwyr yn y pentref cysglyd. Dyma bortread sylwgar, annwyl a chwareus o fywyd mewn pentref bach.
A fresh start. The smog of the city in the rear view, and in front the green, green grass of Wales. That’s the idea anyway. But by the time John steps off the bus in his new home, the curtains are already twitching. The sleepy village of Trecadno doesn’t get much fresh blood… A minutely observed portrait of village life, a portrayal affectionate as it is playful.
