Ond mae’n wir ac maen nhw wrthi’n ymosod ar drigolion yr ardal. Ond beth all merch o grydd â dim ond picwarch yn arf ei wneud yn erbyn cannoedd o filwyr arfog – wel, dychryn a dal rhai ohonynt, wrth gwrs!
Jemima didn’t believe it when the children told her that the French army had landed near Fishguard on 22 February 1797! But it was true, and they were about to attack the people living nearby. What could one woman carrying just a pitchfork do against hundreds of armed soldiers? Well – frighten them and catch them, of course!
