This book takes us through 400 years of art, from 16th century Italian altarpieces, through some of Europe’s finest ceramics to modern day film and video. Featuring 150 works, the book intersperses iconic works by Cézanne, Monet and Renoir with the work of European masters including Canaletto, Gainsborough, Turner and Picasso and great Welsh artists such as Richard Wilson.
