Autobiography of John Phillips, former Education Officer and Chief Executive of Dyfed County Council. It comprises a portrait of his upbringing in a Welsh mining community and comments on the Kray brothers during his time in London. An interesting and turbulent period was his time as head of education in Ceredigion during many a language dispute before establishing Penweddig school.
