Yn ystod y Chwyldro Diwydiannol, bu newid mawr yng nghwm gorllewinol Gwent wrth iddo dyfu’n un o ardaloedd cynhyrchu haearn pwysicaf Prydain, gyda’i gronfeydd o fwyn haearn, glo a chalchfaen cyfoethog. During the Industrial Revolution, the western valley of Gwent underwent a dramatic change to become one of the most important iron producing areas in Britain, with rich deposits of iron ore, coal and limestone. This led to the construction of canals and a network of tramroads, followed by steam railways. A richly illustrated book that provides insight into this heritage.
